Lucky few gain early access to JK Rowling's “Pottermore”
A handful of wealthy fans of Harry Potter have been allowed to register early for 'Pottermore' new website of JK Rowling July 31 to 6 August.
Those who are interested in having quick access to the site had to meet a challenge online. The ultimate goal of the challenge was to find "The Magic Pen", a pen that reside in Hogwarts that documents the birth of a magical child.
Every day, offered a different index corresponding to a different book in the series of seven. The first day of registration in contact with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, etc..
Indices even easier as the week progressed, ranging from the difficulty: "How many breeds of owls are featured on the sign Eeylops Owl Emporium? Multiply this number by 49 "on the first day, much to the simple" How many are there Deathly Hallows? Multiply this number by 7 ", the last day.
Responding to their own idea of driving the fans hope for the Magic Quill.
The site will offer exclusive content Harry Potter, including general information about the characters and settings, and sales of electronic books of all the books in the series. It will also add an interactive aspect to the stories.
"I'm really excited to see what the site will look like and finally find all the secrets of JK Rowling has maintained," said freshman Jenny Luo.
Pottermore went viral in mid-June Although in its infancy it was just a purple background with the words "Pottermore soon ..." and the signature of JK Rowling, the site created serious hype.
"When I came across [Pottermore] I was confused, but intrigued at the same time.I wanted to learn more about this, so I ended up on the site almost every day, "said sophomore Spenser Atlas.
The site has become so popular before the challenge, at 4:00 pm Pacific Time on July 30 the site server crashed and the home page was replaced with the message "Due to the high demand, you can not access Pottermore now.
